"The aim…is not vengeance, but to reorder the world."

Quote of the Moment

“A magician is strong because he hurts more than others. His wound is his strength. Most people carry that pain around inside them their whole lives, until they kill the pain by other means, or until it kills them. But you, my friends, you found another way: a way to use the pain.”
– Lev Grossman, The Magicians

“Our stories break open the stereotypes that trap us.”

About the Archivist

Michael is an up-and-coming writer and aspiring verbal word-smith.  He graduated from UNLV with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and only recently decided to actually pursue this writing thing because he, in an “Ah Ha” moment, realized that not only could he write, but that he was good at it (humility check?) and also possessed a definitive style that was part sarcasm, part intellect, part dark and sick humor, and part vernacular assassin as his vocabulary game is (as the kids say) “on point.” He’s familiar with a wide range of writing styles and formats as well as various other talents and services that require a writer’s touch, and lucky for you, he’s got that touch. Ultimately, however, his main goal is to write that novel (or perhaps a collection of short stories) one day that earns him that coveted “Oprah’s Book Club” sticker on the front or pages and pages of rave reviews by credible sources and other authors praising his work as, in short, a masterpiece. He currently lives in Las Vegas (unfortunately) with his comically over-weight cat, Max who continues to save him from going completely insane on a daily basis.
